Yes, yes. There are deodorants for your bum. And yes, they do work.
One of the most icky things we humans have to deal with, especially on hot days, is swamp ass.
Now hear me out. It’s quite normal to sweat, but what we don’t like is when too much of that sweating happens between our butt cheeks and leaves us smelling and feeling weird.
So, let’s talk about bum deodorants and how we can use them to get rid of swamp ass for good!
Is It Safe To Use Deodorant Between Your Butt Cheeks
If the right kind of deodorant is used properly, then it is safe and effective when used between your butt cheeks.
Remember that the skin between your butt cheeks and around your anus is very sensitive. Products with ingredients that are too harsh, too fragrant, or too drying can easily cause the skin to become irritated.
Therefore, I recommend sticking to products that are specially formulated to be used in that area and doing your research about ingredients before trying them.
Choosing Deodorants For Your Bum
When choosing a deodorant to use between your butt cheeks, I recommend paying attention to the ingredient lists and patch testing.
Ensure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients and then test the product out on a small area of sensitive skin for a few days before applying it between your butt cheeks.
Aluminum and other sweat-blocking ingredients can also cause irritation (although not for everyone). Blocking the pores in that area can also cause ingrown hairs and pimples/pustules to develop.
That’s why I personally prefer to stick to aluminum-free deodorants and those with more organic sweat-absorbing ingredients. However, if you sweat excessively and you are not allergic or sensitive to ingredients like aluminum and zinc, then you can also use antiperspirants and deodorants that contain those for maximum sweat-blocking effects.

The wipes themselves are unscented (so they have no added fragrance) but they also contain eugenol, which has a natural clove oil smell. So when they are first used, you will smell this scent. It is, however, not overpowering.
Where to Get
Please remember that sweating is a normal bodily function that is actually essential for us and our skin to remain healthy.
However, with sweat also comes body odor, which is also normal as long as it is not overpowering or getting weird and worse.
If you feel like you need to use an antiperspirant or a deodorant in your sensitive areas, like between your butt cheeks, please remember to consider how sensitive your skin is in that area. Pay attention to your ingredients and make sure that the products you choose are safe to be used in that area.
Also, pay attention to your daily hygiene practices. Sometimes, a little adjustment to our routine (showers, products, etc.) can make all the difference or at least help.
